The job you were told couldn’t be done remotely can be done remotely.

as tweeted Marcus Gray LaPorte

The Covid-19 pandemic had taught and shown people a lot of things. One of it would be the reality and possibilities to work from home.

Digital transformation is not a luxury but a necessity. Catch up or left out.

Work From Home

In this new future, your office could be anywhere so long you could be in touch, engage and communicate.

For instance, sharing from Adrian Oh, founder of Zetpy on how they leverage on digital communication tool Zoom to carry on their business between different locations and timezone.

We have also seen organizations such as Toastmasters Club of Bukit Serdang sharing their experience in organizing virtual meeting, rather than conventional on premise gathering.

One thing in common for above 2 case studies are they both using this tool called Zoom. which has become one of the most in-demand software tools for the work-from-home economy.

According to Forbes article dated 13th March, 2020:

Zoom is far from the only tool standing to benefit from this trend. Analysts point to others like file-sharing service Dropbox, e-signatures business DocuSign and emergency communications business Everbridge as obvious fellow cloud companies that will likely see a boost in usage as the world moves even more online.

“I think after this crisis is over, people will realize that to work at home probably is not bad.”

Eric Yuan, CEO, Zoom
