Art Heals

The Joy of Giving ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•

Volunteer works for the victims of Taal Volcano Eruption in Badjao Evacuation Center, Batangas City.

This Taal Volcano Eruption I realized that one of the most affected was the children. It is not just because they lost their house or properties but the trauma that will carry on until they grow old. Especially, if no one will help them process that traumatic experience in their life.

As an Art For Healing Facilitator and with childhood traumatic experience, Iโ€™ve realize this is my best way to help them in my own little way together with some volunteers and that is to be with the children.

4 Things that Iโ€™ve learned from this experience:

๐Ÿ’• I am so blessed that I was given a chance to share a precious time with these children.

๐Ÿ’• These children help me appreciate more the life that God has given us.

๐Ÿ’• Childrenโ€™s SMILE IS A GIFT.

๐Ÿ’• Itโ€™s not how much or material things you give, but how much LOVE and care you shared with these victims.

I would like to share this JOY of GIVING to those who help me make this mission happened.

This is just the beginning! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป We will go back to those affected areas and focus to children give art sessions because I believe ART HEALS.

Your Impact Matters.

A Useful Definition of Art

Art is a human activity.

It is the creation of something new, something that might not work, something that causes a viewer to be influenced.

Art uses context and culture to send a message. Instead of only a contribution of beauty or craft, art adds intent.

The artist works to create something generous, something that will change us.

Art isnโ€™t painting or canvas or prettiness. Art is work that matters.

Itโ€™s entirely possible that youโ€™re an artist. Everyone can be, if we choose.
